Some thoughts from the composer
The music I write reflects the soundtrack of my life. I grew up as a child from the 60's and 70's on the music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin the Who, and everything in between. I found the world of Strauss, Prokofiev and Stravinsky as I immersed myself in my studies and was lucky enough to know and hear many of the great composers of the last century as a percussionist studying Stockhausen, Ligeti, Berio, Adams and so many others. Now I write in a voice that belies all of those influences and I strive to connect performers and audiences in a genuine communicative experience.
